An Exciting Opportunity is available for an EXPERIENCED OPTOMETRIST to work in Sydney

Our client, provides mobile allied health services to over 1,000 aged care facilities through out Australia, they have been operating for 8 years and currently employ 15 people in 3 base locations with their head office in Sydney. Their aim is to improve vision with visual tasks and enhance individual's independence by the prevention and management of age related eye conditions.

Due to expansion in their operations, they currently have a vacancy for an experienced Optometrist to service their Sydney operations.

This position is unique, you will not be stuck in a clinic all day, you will be travelling in and around Sydney, Newcastle, Jarvis Bay and at times out west to Orange where you will meet and work with different people from diverse backgrounds.

There is no onselling in this position, you will be able to do what you trained for and improve the daily lives of many people. Ongoing professional development is also a key component of this role.

A generous salary package tailored to suit your requirements is on offer, the package is based upon your qualifications and experience.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Ability to be caring, patient and understanding of the elderly;
  • Successfully completed tertiary education in Optometry;
  • Required qualification for registration with the appropriate Optometry Registration Board in Australia;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Willing to undergo a Police Check;
  • Ability to work independently, be resourceful and communicate effectively;
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills;
  • A passion for the industry.

Our client is willing to provide 457 visa sponsorship to a sucessful international candidate to work and live in Australia, they are also willing to assist with short term accommodation upon relocation to Australia.
