A Central Queensland Public Accounting Practice is seeking CA/CPA qualified (taxation) accountants with a minimum of 3-5 years full time experience in public practice.

The accountants will be responsible for the preparation of individual and business financial statements and tax returns and will provide guidance and support to graduate and trainee accountants. Experience in the use of accounting software including Phoenix, MYOB, Quickbooks, Quicken, Cashbooks Plus, Banklink and Solution 6 would be advantageous.

On top of receiving an excellent remuneration package, you will be working for a well established and innovative firm which values enhanced work performance. You will be engaged on a training plan to consolidate your current skills and prepare you for internal promotion. You will attend seminars and workshops to maintain your working knowledge of the Australian Taxation system.

The firm is willing to offer 457 visa sponsorship to the successful applicant and is also willing to assist with travel and relocation expenses.

To be successful in you application you must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Your qualifications will be from a country that is in the Global Accounting Alliance to allow for ready transfer to Australian qualifications.
